PROGRAMME SUGGESTIONS :

G. Henle Verlag continues to publish copies of manuscripts of important pieces of historic composers, such as the Concert for Piano and Orchestra K488 by Mozart, Forest Scenes for Piano solo op. 82 by Schumann and the Concert for Violin and Ochestra op.77 by Brahms.  These are beautiful publications, which may be used as a gift to music lovers or to appreciate and study the original version of the music and are a must for any home music library.

The Italian publisher Berben has been devoted to publishing works by Astor Piazzola for a long time. They have recently printed several compositions by the Argentinian maestro for bandoneon - or accordion - and other instruments, such as the string quartet, the piano, the double-bass and orchestras also.  Moreover, a couple of works for the cello and the piano and the Cinco Piezas for piano solo have been printed.

Amazing motets for two or more voices were written by Sister Maria Cozzolani and Sister Sulpitia Cesis in the XVI century which were recently published by Artemisia in  Bologna.

A series of sheet music for violin and piano with enclosed CD containing the recording of the piano piece in two different versions, slow timing and "performance" timing, published by Carl Fischer.  From Massenet to Kreisler, from Ciarda by Monti to the Air on G string by Bach,  from Bloch to Korsakov, etc...

A great operatic composer, Gaetano Donizetti, got to grasps with a repertoire of chamber music and created beautiful string quartets, two trios for the violin, the cello and the piano, and the trio for the flute, the bassoon and the piano.
